M 106 (also known as NGC 4258) is a spyral galaxy located in the Canes Venatici constellation.
Under the main galaxy there is a smaller one catalogued as NGC 4248.
M 106 is about 23 mln l.y. and an extimated mass of 190 bln solar masses.
